Answer:

B.

Those who today enjoy power and prosperity may one day become subordinate to those they deem inferior.

Explanation:

Countee LeRoy Porter was an American poet born on May 30, 1903. A well-known writer during the Harlem Renaissance.

The Harlem Renaissance lasted roughly from 1910-mid 1930. This period also marks the rise of African American Culture. The Harlem Renaissance was originated from the Great Migration of the early 20th century. During this period many black people migrated from the South to urban areas which provided them with economic opportunities. Poets like Langston Hughes, Claude McKay, Georgia Douglas Johnson made a great contribution to describe the beauty and pain of black people and also described the black cultural creations through their work by including rhythms of ragtime, jazz, and blues in their poems.

The poem "From The Dark Tower" by Countee Cullen gives insight to the injustices happening towards the African Americans in New York during the Harlem Renaissance by the Whites.
