a customer buys three bottles of water at ninety nine cents each. there is seven percent tax on each bottle. what is the total b
Reika [66]
If the tax was 7 cents then each bottle would cost 1.06 each, because tax doesn't mean it's three dollars plus tax which comes to 3.07, it's that if you have a water bottle coming out to 99 cents each and the tax was 7 cents, you add 7 to 99. Which in money, comes out to 1.06 each bottle. So the total bill is 3.18.
I hope this helped! I don't wanna get your answer wrong! >o<

Age Distribution of the Population by Sex and Region (2011)
Elden [556K]

The consideration of the Age Distribution of the Population of the United States South Region shows that:

South Region:

Section: 1: Child Dependency Ratio: =31.4160%

Section: 2: Old-age Dependency Ratio: 18.9205%

Section: 3: Age Dependency Ratio: 50.3364%

Section: 4: Interpret: About 31% of the children and 19% of old people of the South region depend on their working adults.

Section: 5: Extend: This implies that more than 50% of children and old people in the United States depend on 50% of the working population for survival.

Data and Calculations:

Age Total # Northeast # Midwest # South # West

Both sexes 306,108 54,782 66,104 113,274 71,946

Under 15 years 62,155 10,034 13,180 23,671 15,269

15 to 64 years 204,775 37,101 44,209 75,347 48,117

65 years and older 39,178 7,647 8,715 14,256 8,560

South Region:

Section: 1: Child Dependency Ratio: =31.4160% (23,671/75,347 x 100)

Section: 2: Old-age Dependency Ratio: 18.9205% (14,256/75,347 x 100)

Section: 3: Age Dependency Ratio: 50.3364% (37,927/75,347 x 100)

Section: 4: Interpret: About 31% of the children and 19% of old people of the South region depend on their working adults.

Section: 5: Extend: This implies that more than 50% of children and old people depend on the working population.

Thus, the records show that a little over 50% of the population depends on less than 50% population for survival.
