We know that

set of data [161,170,160]

step 1

Find the mean

 [161+170+160]/3=163.67 cm

step 2

 for each number: subtract the Mean and square the result

(161-163.67)²----->7.1289

(170-163.67)²----> 40.0689

(160-163.67)²----> 13.4689

step 3

 work out the mean of those squared differences

[7.1289+40.0689+13.4689]/(3-1)=30.33

step 4

Take the square root of that

<span>S=√30.33------> 5.51 cm</span>

<span>SE=S/</span>√n--------> 5.51/√3------> 3.18-------> 3.2 cm

the answer is

3.2 cm

notsponge [240]
The important information's already given in the question can be used to find the correct answer.
In 1 hour Ursula earns = 9 dollars
So
In h hours Ursula earns = (9/1) * h dollars
                                       = 9 * h hours
                                       = 9h hours
So we have found from the above discussion that Sarah wrote the correct answer and it was 9h. I hope you are satisfi3ed with the answer and the explanation that I have provided. You can use this procedure for solving similar problems.

Write an equation of the line that passes through the given point and is (a) parallel and (b) perpendicular to the given line.
Levart [38]
The rule of the equation of the line is y=mx+b but since we don't have a B so it will be y=mx so in order to solve it you need to exchange the ordered pairs
X=4, y=3
so 3=m(4)
so the slope which is m
m=4 over 3 (4/3)

Convert a markup of 15% on selling price to its equivalent markup on cost.
spayn [35]

Answer:

option: D is correct. (  (D) a markup of 15% on selling price is equivalent to a 85% markup on cost ).

Step-by-step explanation:

" Markup is the percentage difference between a product's cost and its selling price "

Since we are asked to Convert a markup of 15% on selling price to its equivalent markup on cost.

As there is a markup of  15% on selling price. Hence the cost of the product would be (100-15)%=85% of the selling price.

<em>Hence, a markup of 15% on selling price is equivalent to a 85% markup on cost.</em>

<em>Hence, option D is true.</em>
