The solution to the problem is as follows:

a cube has sides s

V = s^3 ---> differentiating

dV/dt = 3s^2 * ds/dt

0.5 ft^3 / min = 3 * (12ft)^2 * ds/dt

(1/2) ft^3 / min = 3 * 144 ft^2 * ds/dt

(144/6) ft^3 / ( ft^2 min ) = ds/dt

<span>24 ft / min = ds/dt

Answer:

0.0016 feet per minute

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume =(side)^{3}

V=   (x)^{3}

taking derivative both sides ,we get

\frac{dV}{dt} = 3x^2\frac{dx}{dt}

\frac{dV}{dt} = 0.5     [ given ]

 0.5= 3x^2\frac{dx}{dt}   at x =12

0.5= 3{(12)}^2\frac{dx}{dt}

   \frac{0.5}{3(12)^2}=\frac{dx}{dt}

           \frac{dx}{dt}=0.0016 ft per minute

MAXImum [283]

Answer:

In order to find the value of s, we must isolate the s variable in this equation, so the first step should be subtracting 3 5/6 from both sides of this equation. In order to subtract, we multiply each denominator to get 42, and multiply the numerator by the same amount, and subtract the number from both sides:

s + 3 35/42 = 9 6/42

s = 5 13/42

5) The perimeter of the given square is 56cm. Construct an equation and hnd
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

side = 14 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 'x' be the side of the square.

Perimeter = 4 * side

                = 4*x

                = 4x

4x = 56

Solution:

4x = 56

Divide both sides by 4

x = 56/4

x = 14 cm

____ [38]

Answer:

45 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of a square is 4 equal sides. each is therefore 200 cm ÷ 4 = 50 cm each.
