In my opinion the most often sea, forest, countryside and mountains inspire artists because it is a nature, which attract us with its beauty. Maybe when artists are somewhere in the forest or countryside they forget about their problems and create masterpieces. As for me, the best place, which inspire me, is the sea. I can think about everything, take photos and play the guitar there.

Answer: 4 examples of content that often inspires artists are as follows:

1) Places of natural beauty - this example of inspirational content can most often be seen in the work of naturalist painters, and the impressionists. Large bodies of water such as seas and rivers are particularly favoured.

2) Significant others - the significant others of artists has featured prominently in art, both in classic art and more modern works. To see how these people who profoundly effected the lives of others are recreated as a muse is incredibly interesting.

3) Current events - Artists often aim to reflect political events or things that are happening right now in the world, so as to add their own voice and perspective into the conversation.

4) Self portraits - It's always intriguing to see how any individual views themselves, especially when their artistic talent allows us to see not only their view of themselves, but to reconsider how we view ourselves.

How did the jesuits influence the art of the qing dynasty?
garik1379 [7]
For instance, Emperor Qianlong is famous for his extensive collections of Chinese art, which superseded in scale even those of the Ming dynasty, but also for his preservation of Manchu heritage (through the commission of histories, genealogies, etc.) It was thus that the Qing dynasty was able to develop it’s art, not only through the preservation of Manchurian tradition, but through the assimilation of the culture of the nations they conquered. One can easily find portraits depicting the Qianlong Emperor as a Buddhist God in Tibetan fashion, the Yongzheng Emperor dressed as a Mongol, or even as a French Noble, etc.Naturally, as a result of the increasingly ubiquitous Western world, Chinese art would come to reflect its most prized aesthetic values: the most dominant of these, that was not present in the art of the “orient”, was realism
