When you flip a coin, the probability that it will come up tails is 1/2. Remember that when you flip a coin there is only 2 sides. So if you think about it, it's like 50% chance "heads", 50% chance "tails. Or 1/2.

How do mutations affect the products of DNA replication?
natali 33 [55]

Answer: They would make different strands

Explanation: The reasoning behind this is quite simple. If a mutation occurs that means some sort of problem has occurred. Therefore because of this problem the ensuing product would have to be a different strand. Making of RNA has nothing to do with mutations and of course identical strands would not be produced, as that is what is produced when no mutations occur. It also affects the products because the mutation is altering the DNA, therefore making it different.
