The correct answer should be 2-4-1-3

It starts with you waking up, then you listen to what's around, then you realize it's peaceful, then you get interrupted by others. This is the option that makes most sense.

2,4,1,3

I opened my eyes, lay still for a moment, and listened to the sounds of the forest. The rustling tree branches sounded like hushed whispers, and I wondered what they were saying. What a peaceful morning, I thought to myself. At that very moment, I heard Joaquin frantically scream, "Enzo, come quick! Look!"

Since this is written in first person point of view, the narrator first needs to wake up, In one of the sentences, the narrator reflects on the peacefulness of the morning. Before we get to that point, the narrator first needs to describe how the morning is peaceful. Sentence 3 interrupts the peace, so this should be the last sentence of the narrative.

The introduction uses a metaphor to try and relate the way Mad Cow Disease works to something that most people can visualize. Because it sets up details about the disease and tries to make it understandable, Karlie can assume that this piece will be about the way the disease works and how people are affected. </span>
