A 22-ft by 28-ft rectangular swimming pool is surrounded by a walkway of uniform width. If the total area of the walkway is 33
TEA [102]
I would just use trial and error, it's the easiest way to do it, so find out the area of the pool, then just add that to 336 to get the total area. then add a couple of feet to the dimensions of the pool until you get an answer that matches the total area ( I got 952 for the total area) once you find a number that you can add to 22 and 28 and when you multiply them to get 952 your answer should be the number you added to 22 and 28
I don't know if that helps at all, but thats the only way I can explain it.
the answer I got was 6ft

Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

x = 38°

Step-by-step explanation:

Complementary angles = 90°

90° = x + x+14

90° = 2x + 14

104 = 2x

x = 52°

the next angle should be 52 - 14 = 38°

So x = 38°

If my answer is incorrect, pls correct me!

Sheng owns the company Sandy Shores, which packages bottles of sand in two
LenKa [72]

Answer:

The maximum amount of sand in ounces that the company allows for each bottle is 25.5 ounces.

Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of sand that the company Sandy stores allows in each small bottle is determined by the amount of sand required for the bottle size plus the error in the amount of sand for the bottle size.

Now since each small bottle contains 25 ounces of sand and the error in the amount of sand contained in the bottle is 0.5 ounces, the amount of sand contained in the bottle = required amount ± error.

For the minimum amount, we subtract the error and for the maximum amount, we add the error.

Since the maximum amount is required, we have,

Maximum amount = required amount + error

required amount = 25 ounces and error = 0.5 ounces. So,  Maximum amount = 25 ounces + 0.5 ounces = 25.5 ounces.

So, the maximum amount of sand in ounces that the company allows for each bottle is 25.5 ounces.
