+129
_____
3+ 9 is 12 so the unity is 2 and you plus 1 to the tenth; 7 + 2 is 9 but if you plus the number that remained in the unity is 10 so the the tenth is 0 and you will plus 1 to the hungred, 1+1 is 2 but if you plus the 1 that remained in the tenth is 3, so if we put them all together it will be 302

The answer is -173. Its -173 because subtracting -302 and positive 129. Positive is bigger then negative so the positive goes first, but negative is deeper into negative number line so ur answer is most likely negative. Best I can explain lol...

The sum of two numbers is 66. two times the smaller number is 15 more then th larger number what are the numbers
Delicious77 [7]

Let x = big number

Let y = small number

x + y = 66...Equation A

2y = x + 15...Equation B

We have two equations in two unknowns.

x + x + 15 = 66

2x = 66 - 15

2x = 54

x = 54/2

x = 27

Plug x = 27 into EITHER equation above to find y.

I will use Equation A.

x + y = 66

27 + y = 66

y = 66 - 27

y = 39

The two numbers are 27 and 39.

Problem 11-3 blair & rosen, inc. (b&r) is a brokerage firm that specializes in investment portfolios designed to meet th
Artyom0805 [142]

Linear programming which shows the best investment strategy for the client is Max Z=0.12I +0.09B and subject to constraints are :I+ B<=25000,

0.005 I +0.004B<=250.

Given maximum investment client can make is $55000, annual return= 9%, The investment advisor requires that at most $25,000 of the client's funds should be invested in the internet fund. The internet fund, which is the more risky of the two investment alternatives, has a risk rating of 5 per thousand dollars invested. the blue chip fund has a risk rating of 4 per thousand dollars invested.

We have to make a linear programming problem.

Let

I= Internet fund investment in thousands.

B=Blue chip fund investment in thousands.

Objective function:

Max Z=0.12I+0.09B

subject to following constraints:

Investment amount: I+ B<=25000

Risk Rating: 5/100* I+4/100*B<=250 or 0.005 I +0.004B<=250

I,B>=0.

Hence the objective function is Max Z=0.12 I+ 0.09 B.
