Answer: C and B

Explanation: for question 3, A can’t be the answer because self discipline and pride is what boxing is mostly for. Well at least the self discipline part. B cant support the statement as well because it hasn’t been proven that boxers fight longer after they lost their skills, which is most unlikely anyways. So, it has to be that boxers who survive their careers are often left with permanent brain damage because getting a hard hit or lots of hits to the head can cause that.

For Question 4, A wouldn’t support the statement because it isn’t asking what are some reasons why people feel guilty. Saying they feel guilty because they can’t do everything others ask of them sounds like a bad thing. C is definitely not supporting the statement because C is saying why guilt is bad, which in their case is because some can’t get to their full potential. B would support their statement on “feeling guilty is not all bad,” because it talks about how guilt could encourage a person think about their behavior and act differently the next time, which is a good thing.

What is the definition of life experience
timofeeve [1]
Experience in life means that you have gone out and experienced some of what life has to offer, whether it be in a job, higher learning, or just doing. Experience in life also helps shape the way we view others and the world around us. Experiences often define who we become and how we live our individual lives.

Explain how conformity plays a role in the success of the society in Anthem
damaskus [11]

Answer:

In Anthem by Ayn Rand,  the citizens of this imaginary society are pawns without rights who exist as wards of the state. They are born in state-controlled hospitals, raised in state-controlled nurseries, educated in state-controlled schools, toil at state-assigned jobs, and sleep in massive barracks organized by the state. Citizens have no personal lives or loves; they cannot choose friends or lovers. Instead, they engage in state-controlled breeding, in which the government decides who sleeps with whom and when. Even their names are variations on collectivist slogans — Unity, Fraternity, International, and so on — followed by numbers, indicating the many "brothers" who share the slogan for a name. Above all, the word "I" has been outlawed; it is the "Unspeakable Word" that has been erased from the language and from the thoughts of citizens. All first-person references have been expunged from individual thought. When individuals speak of themselves, they use the collective "we," there being no individualistic concepts or words available.

Students often think that the citizens of Anthem are mindless puppets, brainwashed and controlled by the state. This is not so. The citizens retain their capacity to think and to choose. Equality 7-2521's plan, at the end, depends on this free will — for when he creates a different kind of society, he fully expects the best among humankind to recognize the society's merit and flock to its banner. They will choose freedom over tyranny. The mind may lie dormant, but never extinct; no dictatorship can kill the human capacity to choose liberty.

Which sentence is written in the active voice? A) Drew aimed his nerf gun at the target and pulled the trigger. B) The hot air b
yuradex [85]

The sentence that is written in active voice is letter A. Drew aimed his nerf gun at the target and pulled the trigger.  This active voiced sentence can be clearly identified because it uses regular verbs such as AIMED AND PULLED in its normal way without the TO-BE. On the other hand, the other sentences are in passive voice because they use WAS FILLED, WAS GIVEN  AND WERE PICKED. It is also important to mention that the passive voiced is used to highlight the object of the sentence not the subject which sometimes it is not necessary to mention it.
