Answer:

a. the characters in her tale reflect her own life.

Explanation:

The Wife of Bath is a very unusual character considering her time period. In her prologue, we learn about her life and her past, and we see that the tale she tells is based on her own experiences. The Wife of Bath was always interested in gaining the upper hand in a marriage because she believes that the best thing a woman can have is sovereignty and authority over herself. She was openly sexual with many men, married several times, and eventually married a man half her age. All of these events are reflected in the tale, in which the knight had to marry a much older woman, and the female characters in the story desire power over their husbands more than anything else.

1. Why does the author choose to describe the Torwood pine forests and The Grapes as he does?
LenaWriter [7]

Answer: 1.C) 2.A)

Explanation:

1.We can see description like ''Torwood pine forest and the grapes'' often in literature and it is often used to create sense of fear or confusion in the readers(not characters)so they could assume that some mysterious events are going to happen. In forests we don't know what we can find and what kind of animals can appear that is why often readers are having dark thoughts which is giving the story foreboding and dark mood. Also, there are a lot of dark colors in the forests and the grapes.

2. This excerpt is from the novel ''The Man Who Knew Too Much'' and after that we can see that ''There was a silence, and then March started with irrational.'' Because of the silence after those words, the readers will doubt on Fisher's honesty and innocence and also because it was odd for people that he is perfectly right in something.

So I am reading a book and I suppose to answer these questions what does these questions mean?
Ahat [919]

First you relate the book to an experience from your own life. Then you tell an example of how  the story relates to your life, but use fictional details when you do this. Last relate the story to Kennedy's view of life, if it agrees or disagrees with Kennedys view.
