In the given problem the trick lies in the fact that the time upto which the food supply would last for 600 passengers is given in weeks and that is 3 weeks. First thing to do is convert the 3 weeks to number of days. Then it would be easy to find the number of days the same food supply would last if the number of passengers increases to 800.
Then
3 week = 21 days
Now
For 600 passengers in the ship the food supply will last for = 21 days
then
For 800 passengers in the ship the food supply will last for = (21/800) * 600
                                                                                               = (21/8) * 6
                                                                                               = 15.75 days
So the food supply  for 800 passengers would last for 15.75 days

Five fourths of a right angle

A right angle is 90 degrees.

Five fourths is \sf \frac{5}{4}

Five fourths OF A right triangle

\sf \frac{5}{4} OF 90 degrees

Of means multiplication so:

\sf \frac{5}{4}\times 90

And that equals to 112.5

So your final answer is

\boxed{\bf{112.5~degrees}}

Ayudemen porfavor . Determine 4 ala potencia x + 4 ala potencia -x, si se sabe que 2ala potencia x + 2 ala potencia -x =3
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

Es igual a 7.

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, sabemos que:

2^x + 2^{-x} = 3

Queremos calcular:

4^x + 4^{-x}

Tambien sabemos que 4 = 2*2

Entonces:

4^x + 4^{-x} = (2*2)^x + (2*2)^{-x}

y sabemos que 2*2 = 2^2

Entonces:

4^x + 4^{-x} = (2*2)^x + (2*2)^{-x} = (2^2)^x + (2^2)^{-x}

y ahora podemos usar la relación:

(a^n)^m = (a^m)^n = a^{m*n}

entonces:

(2^2)^x + (2^2)^{-x} = (2^x)^2 + (2^{-x})^2

Ahora podemos completar cuadrados sumando y restando el termino:

2*(2^x)*(2^{-x})

Asi tendremos:

(2^x)^2 + (2^{-x})^2 =  (2^x)^2 + (2^{-x})^2 + 2*(2^x)*(2^{-x}) - 2*(2^x)*(2^{-x}) = (2^x + 2^{-x})^2 -  2*(2^x)*(2^{-x})

Entonces de momento tenemos que:

4^x + 4^{-x} = (2^x + 2^{-x})^2 - 2*(2^x)*(2^{-x})

Sabemos que el termino que esta dentro del parentesis es igual a 3.

Y tambien podemos usar la propiedad:

a^n*a^m = a^{n + m}

en el termino de la derecha.

Asi tendremos:

(2^x + 2^{-x})^2 - 2*(2^x)*(2^{-x}) = (3)^2 - 2*2^{x + (-x)}  = 9 - 2 = 7

Alisiya [41]

Keisha ran 2.4 miles more than Jamal.

Keisha ran 8.5 miles, how many miles did Jamal run?

m = the number of miles Jamal ran

2.4 + m = 8.5

[Keisha ran 2.4 more miles than Jamal(m), she ran a total of 8.5 miles]

2.4 + m = 8.5   Subtract 2.4 on both sides

m = 6.1

Jamal ran 6.1 miles (Your answer is the 2nd option)
