I honestly can't answer from a "pro slavery" side, but since they thought we were different because of the color of our skin that we didn't have feelings, that we were inhumane. I don't know.
Anti-slavery- "we didn't ask to be brought here. We didn't ask to be treated this way. We have feeling and we're smarter than you think"
Pro Slavery- Their thoughts- we white folks are richer and better than these poor "blacks" we should be in control of them, they can help us take care of crops and be our slaves, it will make life easier. Anti Slavery- it's unconstitutional, and wrong for people to treat people this way.
