1. Close reading: According to Document D, why did Texans revolt?

The document shows that the Texans revolted because they believe that, no matter what the did, the two ethnic group cannot be able to co-exist peacefully together.

This is in reference made by one of the revolutionaries about Texans being from the race of Anglo-American while the Mexicans are from mongrel race which is a descendants of Spainards and Indians.

2. Sourcing: How trustworthy is this as evidence of why Texans revolted? Explain.

The source is trusthworthy because it happens to be a private correspondence letter between one of the revolutionaries to the a US senator.

3. Corroboration: Does the evidence in Document D affect your thesis? If so, how?

It does not affect my thesis as a result of other various articles and materials to make further researches on "Why Texans Revolts"
