In the absence of glucose and the presence of lactose, where is the lac repressor bound?

Biology

Answer:

The lac repressor is not bound to the operon.

Explanation:

The lac repressor is a protein encoded by the lac I gene. In absence of lactose, the lac repressor binds to the operator sequence of the lac operon and does not allow the RNA polymerase to express the operon. However, as lactose enters the cell from the medium, the beta-galactosidase enzyme converts it into allolactose which in turn serves as an inducer of the lac operon. Binding of allolactose to lac repressor trigger conformational changes in the protein and renders it unable to bind to the operator. The RNA polymerase is allowed to express the operon.

1. Why are new biomedical products created and what factors influence them to evolve over
Zanzabum

Answer:

Rapid progress in biomedical science has also encouraged the development of multiple successful medical technologies, but their translation into clinical use has posed complex scientific, cultural, and social problems. As demonstrated by the development of new acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) medications, the rise of these problems is spurring new interest in medical innovation.

Biomedical products are created for better results in medical technology including autoclave / sterilizer, anesthesia machine, aspiration/suction pump, and blood chemistry analyzer etcetra.

Factors influencing them includes harmful effect on other body parts ( beta blockers have harmful effect on heart), outdating technology, and introduction of evolved diseases that is not abl to cure with old products.

A population of 1000 individuals is found to have an almost
mestny [16]

Answer:

The hardy-Weinberg OR Hardy- Weinberg equilibrium is the model that describes that the frequency of genotype and allele frequency remain constant if there is no evolutionary influences, generation to generation.

According to this model:

p+ q = 1

p² + q²+ 2pq= 1

Thus, the given case does not follow the Hardy Weinberg principle which means there is some type of influence of the evolutionary change is occurred in the particular population.
