Geography

Answer:

The Great Plains undergo changes from one year to another. These changes are determined by the production of floods, the accumulation of sediments or changes made by man (dams, construction of dams, gravel pits).

The Rocky Mountains shrunk annually. External factors (water, air, wind, freeze-thaw process) cause changes in the structure of the rocks and so there are changes in the mountain landscape.

Hi there!

The Rocky Mountains are always changing. But mostly things are getting smaller of being turned to sediment because it is undergoing erosion. There are different kinds of erosion, for example, water erosion, chemical erosion, and the common kind found in that ecosystem, wind erosion.

Hope this helps and please mark brainliest!

Explain how plate tectonics have changed Earth’s surface over time. Include the role of plate tectonics in the creation of land
Rudiy27

Explanation:

The Earth is comprised of many plates that float on the hot magma in the mantle layer. They are constantly moving but its so slow we can't feel it. A long time ago, all the land on Earth was connected in one big continent named Pangaea. As the plates have moved the land has separated forming the continents.

When plates come together they cause friction between them. This causes the plates to push up forming a mountain. This was how the Himalayan mountains were formed.
