The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The information from this document that might be useful if you wanted to explain that Germany had an aggressive foreign policy was the political and personal ideas that Hitler had about supremacy and racism since he was young.

We are talking about the document called "Mein Kampf," the autobiography of Nazi leader Adolph Hitler that could be translated as "My Struggle." Published in 1925, the information contained in the document explains why he hated the Jews so much and his intention to start persecution to capture them. He also refers to his foreign policy of conquering and domination of some parts of Europe and Russia.

Should federal holidays such as Thanksgiving and Independence day be removed?
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

Yes and no.

Explanation:

U.S. federal holidays are dates throughout the year that the U.S. government deems as legal public holidays. Federal government employees receive these days off from work to celebrate or observe and government offices or organizations remain closed on these days. Also it is not mandatory because there is no law that states it.

While some historians explain the end of slavery in the americas throughout the nineteenth century as a response to the antislav
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
Britain needed to resolve a conflict between the principles of free trade (which Britain was more and more adopting) and the institution of slavery.

Concerns about slave revolts indeed were indeed part of Britain's pragmatic decisions to end its participation in the slave trade in 1807 and phasing out slavery in its empire starting in 1834.  But the other factor was that the Industrial Revolution was taking over how the British economy operated, and the institution of slavery no longer fit within the new, industrializing economy.

Along with those practical reasons, there was of course much moral pressure applied by the abolitionist movement.  William Wilberforce was a key voice of conscience in Parliament from the moral side of the argument.
