The first mistake was made in step 1 because they took out the x’s it should be 10x-25+2x+8=43
Because the square has similar lengths, the equation would be
(7x-2)(7x-2)
We can use FOIL to solve this:
The area is 49x^2 - 28x + 4 in^2.
The number is multiplied by 3 every time
and next three terms are 1/324, 1/972 and 1/2916
