ny muffins as bagels. He had 10 bagels. Kent sold 5 muffins before lunch and then sold another 6 muffins after lunch. How many muffins did Kent have left?

Since he had twice as many muffins as bagels he would have 20 :
10×2=20

first you need to find how many he sold :
5+6=11

now subtract :
20-11=9

Kent had 9 muffins left
