Since he had twice as many muffins as bagels he would have 20 :
10×2=20

first you need to find how many he sold :
5+6=11

now subtract :
20-11=9

Kent had 9 muffins left

hope this helped

He has 9 left because 10x2=20 so 11-20=9

the width of a rectangle is three less than the length. if the area of the rectangle is 88 square cm, find the dimensions of the
Elden [556K]
Let the length be l
Then,
l *(l-3)= 88
l²-3l =88
l²-3l-88=0
l²-11l +8l -88 =0
l(l-11) + 8(l-11) =0
(l+8)(l-11)=0
As, l can't be negative, length=11cm and width=(l-3)=11-3 =8 cm
