Qing dynasty ruled from 1644 to 1912. It is also known as the Manchurian dynasty. At the middle of this time, China lived a period of stability and wealth. The emperor ordered the completion of the Kangxi dictionary. Arts such as music and painting reached a high level in society.

The Xia dynasty. During this period, Chinese people started to irrigate the fields to get better agriculture. They also built a strong army and developed tools and artifacts such as the compass, square and rule. This dynasty also developed wheeled vehicles for transportation purposes.
