Scholarship important to the fraternity because they believe that their primary aim of attending college is purposely for studying and learning. this was the idea their founders had in mind. This helps them to make sure the chapter is able to influence the campus community positively.

Phi Delta theta is also known as Phi Delt. It is an international social fraternity established in 1848 by six students during their undergraduate studies at the Miami University, it as its headquarters in Oxford University. This fraternity comprises of 185 active chapters and colonies within over 43 states in the United States and 5 in the Canadian provinces.

This fraternity with Beta Theta pi and Sigma Chi forms Miami Triad.
