fenix001 [56]
Akbar was a) a Mughal ruler of India who practiced religious and cultural tolerance. The Mughal Empire was an empire that extended over the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives). Akbar was seen as one of the greatest rulers in the Mughal Dynasty and ruled until his death in 1605. He was not particularly interested in religious orthodoxy and preferred a united empire, regardless of religion and was a big "patron" of culture.
