Answer:

T(-4) = -(-4)-2 = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

If you have -4 as the x value, all you have to do is substitute -4 in for x in the equation you are given, so it would be -(-4)-2. Now, you have a negative outside of your parenthesis -4, so that will have to be distributed to the -4, and it becomes positive 4. That will then make the equation 4-2, which then makes 2 your overall answer.

If p is true and q is false, the p q is ________ true.
Paraphin [41]
I would guess sometimes, but I'm not sure how something can be true and false at the same time. If something is both true and false it won't always be true and it won't never be true, so I'm guessing it's sometimes.

Differenciate by first principles f(x) = 4x²-4x-3
zysi [14]
f(x) = 4x^2-4x-3\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}\frac{f(x+h)-f(x)}{h}\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}\frac{4(x+h)^2-4(x+h)-3-(4x^2-4x-3)}{h}\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}\frac{4(x^2+2hx+h^2)-4x-4h-3-4x^2+4x+3}{h}\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}\frac{4x^2+8hx+4h^2-4h-4x^2}{h}\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}\frac{8hx+4h^2-4h}{h}\\
f'(x)=\lim_{h\to0}{8x+4h-4}\\
f'(x)=8x+4\cdot0-4\\
f'(x)=8x-4\\
