Answer:

The value of x is 2

Given:

$\frac{10}{20}=\frac{1}{x}$

Solution:

In this problem, we need to find the value of ‘x’ which is a variable. The variable is a quantity where the value is assumed or the value changes according to the problem.

Usually, the value of the variable is determined with the help of constants where the parameters never changes in any of the problem.

Now, we need to bring the variable on one side and constants on another side in the given problem.

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{20}{10} \times 1$

On cancelling the values,

$\therefore x=2$

The nurse should be with the client that is suggesting taking the drug with food. When the client reported experiencing nausea, anorexia, and abdominal pain after starting trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole for urinary tract infections.

What is a urinary tract infection?

Urinary tract infection is a condition when the organs belonging to the urinary system become infected. These organs can be the kidneys, ureters, urethra, or bladder. However, urinary tract infections generally occur in the urethra and bladder.

Starting from the kidneys, residual substances in the blood are filtered and excreted in the form of urine. Next, urine flows from the kidneys through the ureters to the bladder. Once stored in the bladder, urine will be expelled out of the body through a tube called the urethra.

According to the physical activity health guidelines, adults must do moderate physical activity for at least 2hr a week. And 1 hr intense aerobic exercise a week to burn the calories.

Describe how you can avoid spreading invasive plant species.
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

There are three main ways of avoiding the spreading of an invasive plant species via manual control. Manual control techniques include activities such as hand-pulling, digging, flooding, mulching, burning, removal of alternate hosts and manual destruction or removal of nests, egg masses or other life stages. These techniques work best on small populations or in areas where chemicals or motorized equipment cannot be used. Manual control efforts must be persistent and several treatments may be needed to reduce or eliminate the target population. If infestations are too pervasive, manual control may become labor intensive and thus not economically feasible. Digging/Hand-pulling: Remove entire root to prevent resprouting. Usually works best with small or young plants, in sandy or loose soils, or when soils are damp. Smothering: Use mulch, black plastic, carpet, or any other impenetrable barrier to cover target plants for at least one growing season. The effectiveness of this technique can be increased by first cutting the target plants and then smothering them. If dealing with a species that produces clones, be sure to cover all stems of the species. Flooding: This is only feasible where water levels can be manipulated to completely cover cut plants for a period of time. The depth of water necessary and the amount of time cut plants should be covered will vary from species to species.
