The correct answer is C. The smoke form the jungle fire attracter their attention

Explanation:

"The Lord of the Flies" is a novel written by the British writer William Golding and published in 1954, this novel tells the story of a group of boys maroon in an island. The story begins as an aeroplane that is trying to escape from war crashes on the ocean near to an island and only a group of kids survived, from that moment they try to govern and organize themselves in order to survive, as a result there are multiple conflicts between the boys, including one of the boys called Jack trying to lead the group. In one of this conflicts, Jack orders his tribe or group to persecute another kid and they set fire to the place, thus, there is a huge fire in the island and a cruiser or naval ship that was sailing near to the island with Brithis officcers decide to approach to investigate and then rescued the kids. Thus, the naval ship arrives to the island due to the smoke from the jungle as this caught their attention.

Write two to three sentences explaining one way that Ovid creates suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe." Support your response with d
bezimeni [28]

Answer and Explanation:

Ovid managed to generate suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe" from the beginning of the narrative, when only young people communicate through a small space between their homes, and they can be discovered at any time by someone who would prevent them from being together. However, the high point of the suspense is portrayed at the end of the poem, when Ovid causes Pyramus to find his beloved's bloody vein and is extremely sad, making the reader unable to know what he will actually do, until he decides he needs to die. Furthermore, the suspense gets even greater when Thisbe finds her beloved dead and decides to have the same end.
