Step-by-step explanation:

The digital scale has to be used once.

Let the coins that have normal weights are normal coins and the coins that has a weight 1 pound less are called defected coins.

5 stacks are there in which any four contains normal coins and 1 stack contains defected coins.

Took 1 coin from 1st stack, 2 coins from 2nd stack and so on..

Weigh the coins and see the result.

If the total weight is 1 pound less than the stack 1 contains defected coin.

If the total weight is 2 pounds less than the stack 2 contains defected coin.

If the total weight is 3 pounds less than the stack 3 contains defected coin.

If the total weight is 4 pounds less than the stack 4 contains defected coin.

If the total weight is 5 pounds less than the stack 5 contains defected coin.

The talent show committee sold a total of 530 tickets in advance. Student tickets cost $3each and the adult tickets cost $4 each
Serggg [28]
Students = 380
Adults = 150

You can get this by using x = students and y = adults. Then set up a cost equation of:

3x + 4y = 1740

and a total tickets equation of

x + y = 530

Solve using any method.

Answer:

-10

Step-by-step explanation:

You always want to solve the inner function first.

g(-2)=(-2)³+3

=-8+3

=-5

g(-2)=-5 so you can replace g(-2) with -5

Now you just have f(-5)

Solve.

f(-5)=-5-5

f(-5)=-10
