Circle A has been enlarged to create circle A'. The table below shows the circumference of both circles.
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Option (2) 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Rule for the dilation of an image by a scale factor is,

Scale factor = \frac{\text{Radius of image circle A'}}{\text{Radius of pre-image A}}=\frac{r'}{r}

                    = \frac{(2\pi) r'}{(2\pi) r}

                    = \frac{\text{Circumference of image}}{\text{Circumference of pre-image}}

                    = \frac{10.5}{7}

                    = 1.5

Therefore, scale factor was used to create a circle A' = 1.5

Option (2) will be the correct option.

The area of a parallelogram is modeled by the formula, A = lw. Solve the equation for w.
erastovalidia [21]
Hello there! Thank you for asking your question here at Brainly! I will be assisting you with answering this question today, and will teach you how to handle it on your own in the future.

First, let's look at our problem.
"A = L * W, solve for W."

This is basic algebra, but I will teach you how to tackle this problem, so you can do it on your own.

So, we have the following equation:
A = L * W
To solve for W, we need to get it alone on one side of the equation. Currently, it is not alone, but rather is being multiplied by L.
To isolate W, we need to perform the opposite order of operations on both sides of the equation.

A = L * W
Divide both sides by L to isolate and solve for W.

W = \frac{A}{L} is our solution.

The following equation matches the answer choice "C".

Your answer is "C."

I hope this helps!

Three times the sum of a number and 4 is the same as 18 more than the number
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
First, figure out what you do and don't know....
You do know that 3 times the sum of a number and 4 is 18 more than the number....you don't know the number so you make it the variable x
now take 3 times the sum of a number and 4 and make that an expression 3x+4 this expression is the same or equal to the sum of x and 18 x+18
3x+4=x+18
2x+4=18
2x=14
x=7
hope this helped :)
