Answer:

a). Radius r of the small sector= 12cm

b). Perimeter of the shape= 68 cm

c). Angle= 47.7°

Step-by-step explanation:

a). Radius of the big sector= 24 cm

Arc if the big sector= 20 cm

Arc of the small sector= 10 cm

For the radius r of the small sector

r/10 = 24/20

r=(10*24)/20

r= 24/2

r= 12 cm

Radius r of the small sector= 12cm

b). Perimeter of the shape

= Total length of the shape

Let's note that the other side of the sector is also the radius= 24 cm

Perimeter= 20+24+24

Perimeter of the shape= 68 cm

c) the angle

Length of arc = 2πr*(angle/360)

Let angle = b

Length of arc = 20cm

20= 2*3.14*24*(b/360)

(20*360)/(2*3.14*24)= b

47.7°= b

Angle= 47.7°

Using Triangle Congruence Theorems
kodGreya [7K]

There are a total of five theorems congruent triangles. They are summarized as:

 • SAS
 • SSS
 • AAS
 • RHS and
 • ASA.

What are the definitions of the Theorems of Congruent Triangles?

SAS - Side Angle Side

According to the SAS rule, two triangles are said to be congruent if any two sides and any angle between the sides of one triangle are equal to the corresponding two sides and angle between the sides of the second triangle.

SSS - Side Side Side Rule

According to the SSS rule, two triangles are said to be congruent if all three sides of one triangle are proportional to the size three sides of the second triangle.

AAS - Angle Angle Side Rule
Angle-Angle-Side is abbreviated as AAS. The triangles are said to be congruent when two angles and a non-included side of one triangle match the comparable angles and sides of another triangle.

ASA - Angle Side Angle rule

According to the ASA rule, two triangles are said to be congruent if any two angles and the side contained between the angles of one triangle are proportional to the size two angles and side included in between angles of the second triangle.

RHS - Right Angle- Hypotenuse side Rule

According to the RHS rule, two right triangles are said to be equivalent if their hypotenuses and one of their sides are identical to those of another right-angled triangle.

Hey can someone help?
Ronch [10]

The value of the given variable x in the missing angles is; x = 12°

How to find alternate Angles?

Alternate angles are defined as the angles that occur on opposite sides of the transversal line and as such have the same size. There are two different types of alternate angles namely alternate interior angles as well as alternate exterior angles.

Now, from the question, we can see that ∠4 and ∠6 suit the definition of alternate angles and as such we can say that they are both congruent.

Since ∠4 = (8x + 4)° and ∠6 = (6x + 28)°, then we can say that;

(8x + 4)° = (6x + 28)°

Rearranging this gives us;

8x - 6x = 28 - 4

2x = 24

x = 24/2

x = 12°

What is the total finance charge for a $4,250 loan at 13.25% interest compounded monthly for 24 months?
Rom4ik [11]
Since only the principal value, interest rate and interest period are given, we can deduce that "finance charge" only includes the interest to be paid at the end of the term. This can be obtained by subtracting the principal value from the future value which we will solve for.

The future value can be solved by using the following compound interest formula:

Let:
F = Future value
P = Principal value
r = annual interest rate
n = number of times that interest is compounded per year
t = number of years

F = P(1 + r/n)^nt

Substituting the given values:
F = 4250(1 + 0.1325/12)^(12*2)
F = 5531.54

Subtracting P from F:
Finance charge = 5531.54 - 4250 = 1281.54

Therefore the finance charge is $1,281.54
