Solve x- 8x = 20 by completing the square. Which is the solution set of the equation?
nlexa [21]

The right question is

x ^{2} -8x=20

now multiply 1/2 by the coefficient of x which is 8

\frac{1}{2}  \times 8=4

now add square of 4 on both side of equation we will get

{x}^{2} -8x+ {4}^{2} =20+ {4}^{2}

(x-4)^2=20+16

(x-4)^2=36

taking square root on both sides

we get

(x-4)=-+6

x-4=6,  x-4=-6

x=6+4 , x=-6+4

x=10,-2

so third option is correct

if u find any confusion u can ask me

i hope you will understand it

Thank u

(mc) what path did booker t. washington recommend that african americans take to achieve racial equality?
makkiz [27]
Booker t Washington was a big believer that education would be the source of social mobility and a means to acquire power in American society. He believed that if a large amount of the black population could become educated (and keep in mind a majority of the black population was illiterate at the time) they would rise to power in society and become respected as equals in American society. This was in contrast to his contemporaries who believed that political demonstrations, protests and other ways of "fighting" for social and political power were more effective. Booker T Washington was also a career educator and founded the Tuskegee Institute which was one of the first historically black colleges, and is still educating students to this day.

Answer:

Quality Paper Products has developed a Divisional chain of command.

Explanation:

Divisional chain of command establishes how tasks are delegated and how work is approved. If Mary Beth reported both her sales manager and the office products manager when she started working she reported to the company's divisional chain of command.
