Why did England support the Monroe Doctrine? How did it benefit them?
Alborosie
The Monroe Doctrine granted the United States the ability to independently intervene in the trading economy. Having the ability to act alone and be neutral to war situations allowed them to make economic decisions based off of what they felt was best for them to prosper.

If you were a supreme court justice which philosophy would you utilize activism or restraint
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

I would use judicial activism.

Explanation:

Judicial activism refers to a judge or court that is more willing to invalidate legal or governmental action. This concept is therefore broader than the strict right of review, whereby a judge checks to what extent a law, decision or measure is in accordance with a law of a higher order such as a constitution or a treaty. Therefore, as a judge, I would evaluate the constitutionality of the different laws and government actions, interpreting their legality in a broad way, and not only limiting myself to the text of the law.

Describe the various mountains found throughout Middle America, The Caribbean, and South America
MissTica

Answer:

Middle America, the geographic realm between the United States and the continent of South America, consists of three main regions: the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Central American republics. The Caribbean region, the most culturally diverse of the three, consists of more than seven thousand islands that stretch from the Bahamas to Barbados. The four largest islands of the Caribbean make up the Greater Antilles, which include Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico. Hispaniola is split between Haiti in the west and the Dominican Republic in the east. The smaller islands, extending all the way to South America, make up the Lesser Antilles. The island that is farthest south is Trinidad, just off the coast of Venezuela. The Bahamas, the closest islands to the US mainland, are located in the Atlantic Ocean but are associated with the Caribbean region. The Caribbean region is surrounded by bodies of salt water: the Caribbean Sea in the center, the Gulf of Mexico to the west, and the North Atlantic to the east.
