Answer: The phrase that gives the reader a clue that life in the city is now being discussed is "On the other hand".

Explanation<u>:</u><u> "On the other hand" is a phrase widely used to present an opposed point, opinion or situation</u>. In other words,<u> </u>"on the other hand" is generally used when two sides of an issue are being discussed.<u> In the passage provided, two opposite situations are being discussed: life in the farm and life in the city</u>. The author starts talking about how is living in a farm; however<u>, from sentence 14 onwards, he/she starts talking about how is living in the city </u>.<u> The phrase that the author uses to indicate he/she will be dealing with the opposed situation</u>, that is to say life in the city, is<em> "on the other hand".</em> Therefore, "on the other hand" is the phrase that functions as a clue.

Summarize about amendment 5 with your own words.
ankoles [38]

Answer:

so I think that the fifth amendment in my own words would be change the reason why I say change is because it kind of changed the grand jury in a way if you think about it so if you change the way people did things and BC or before we switch to the Gregorian calendar I know it's kind of off but if you think about it it changed didn't it but it's more than change because they said it guarantees your right and it forbids a double jeopardy against self-incrimination so if you're in court and you got a case it protects your right against self-incrimination so nobody can do that to you and that's what I think about it
