asure? "’What in the world are those girls about now?’ thought Laurie, opening his sleepy eyes to take a good look, for there was something rather peculiar in the appearance of his neighbors.” “He was in one of his moods, for the day had been both unprofitable and unsatisfactory, and he was wishing he could live it over again.” "’Well, that's cool,’ said Laurie to himself, ‘to have a picnic and never ask me!’” "’You'll get there, Beth, sooner or later, no fear of that,’ said Jo. ‘I'm the one that will have to fight and work, and climb and wait, and maybe never get in [the Celestial City] after all.’"

I believe the answer is the second choice. "He was in one of his moods, for the day.." the first and third choices are definitely out, no doubt. And the fourth is the runner up. I'd have to say the second is the best choice. Key words are 'unprofitable' and 'unsatisfactory' followed by the notion that he wishes he could start over. This gives the impression that he was idle rather than ambitious.

The answer is B.Round. A round character is a complex character that often undergoes change and character development. While round characters are often main characters, this is not always the case and therefore the answer cannot be A, C or D.

How might a voracious, yet sporadic person behave?
ololo11 [35]

Their performance varies considerable, they are often idle, and then might have an occasional flurry of activity.  For example, if their attendance is sporadic, they may have good attendance for a while, and then disappear unpredictably from time to time.
