Your answer would be Event 1 shows lunar eclipse and Event 2 shows solar eclipse.

This is because of the positioning of all three of the objects.

The sun is the light source, and therefore things are only visible because of light reaching our eyes, from the sun, either reflected or direct.

In the case of Event 1, the earth is blocking the sunlight from reaching the moon, so therefore it would be a lunar eclipse, as the moon would not be visible.

In the case of Event 2, the moon is blocking sunlight from reaching parts of the earth, so therefore the sun would not be visible, and it would be a solar eclipse.
