Answer:

A heating system is a good way to model because when the TRH falls, the hypothalamus secretes TRH . When the TRH rises, the they stimulate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland to stop secreting TRH and TSH.

Explanation:

When thyroid hormones in the blood fall below a certain level, the hypothalamus secretes thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH). TRH stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). In response to TSH, the thyroid secretes its hormones. As blood levels of thyroid hormones rise, they stimulate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland to stop secreting TRH and TSH.

similar to the way that a home heating system is controlled. In a heating system, when the temperature falls, the thermostat signals the furnace to switch on and produce heat. When the temperature rises, the thermostat signals the furnace to switch off and stop producing heat

I just replaced the heating system words with the TRH
