The correct answers are the following:

1) Revising. This process includes reconsidering and making corrections or alterations in the form or content of a manuscript.

2) Drafting. This part of the writing process involves the preparation of a preliminary manuscript with a fully developed idea. Once you have a draft, you revise it and submit the final document.

3) Personal Essay. On this essay, Stafford writes about his personal experience as a writer and gives advice on the writing process.

4) Nature Writing. The essay would deal with the life of the caribou, which is part of the natural enviroment and the relationship between the caribou with the enviroment.

5) Travel writing. This kind of writing includes the experiences and descriptions of a place that a writer has visited. The focus is on the place itself and how it is unique or special for the writer that has visited it.

6) Creative nonfiction. This form of writing is based on facts but also presents them on florid prose and its main aim is to entertain rather than inform.

7) Creative nonfiction & fiction. Nonfiction uses rather dull prose because its aim is to present the facts and inform. On the other hand, as I have stated above, creative nonfiction and fiction use figurative language becaue the main aim is to entertain the reader or to convey an idea in a literary style.

8) Fiction. While creative nonfiction and nonfiction must rely on facts and actual information, fiction is a more flexible kind of writing that can make up plots, characters and basically any aspect.

9) Both a and b. While dialogue is an integral part of fiction, like drama or novels, creative nonfiction can also include dialogue between characters as a way to present facts or actual infomation to the reader.

10) What do you think your strenghts are? As a writer should you should be aware of your strenghts and limitations in order to know which aspects you can cover with your writing and which are your weak points in order to improve them.

1. Revising

 • Revising is the recurrent process of writing and rewriting an essay. This would focus more on content organization, or style. While editing focuses more on grammar.

2. Drafting

 • A draft is the writer's attmepts at putting down their ideas into words. There are usually multiple drafts in order to ensure that a completed work is revised and edited correctly.

3. Personal Essay

 • A personal essay usually talks about an important person or event in someone's life. The essay talks about Stafford's own experiences.

4. Nature Writing

 • Nature writing is nonfiction written about the natural environment. A caribou is part of nature.

5. Travel Writing

 • When you travel, you go to different, unique places. When writing about one of these unique places, you are doing travel writing.

6. Creative nonfiction

 • Nonfiction is based on fact. But, creative nonfiction means that facts are presented in a more interesting way, so it reads more like fiction.

7. Creative nonfiction and fiction

 • Figurative languge uses figures of speech, like metaphors, similies, etc., to be more effective. These are used to show things. They are not used in typical nonfiction, which simply presents the facts, but can be used in creative nonfiction and fiction to present information in an interesting way.

8. Fiction

 • Fiction is a literary genre that is completely or almost completely made-up. It is full of imagination.

9. Both A and B (Creative nonfiction and fiction)

 • Like stated earlier, creative nonfiction reads like fiction, but is based on facts. That means that like fiction, it can include dialogue between characters.

10. What do you think your strengths are?

 • In order to find areas of improvement, it is helpful to first identify one's strengths. It also gives you motivation because you see that not everything about your writing is bad.

I wouldn't prefer to call a place school where there are only machines to teach and no classmates. School is a place where students as well as teachers have mutual understanding and support for each other. It's not just about academics and evaluation which can be accomplished by machines, it's also the environment and interaction that a student requires in order to grow in every aspect of life. I would never wish to attend such school where I'm the only human sitting in the class. That feeling of loneliness would definitely bore me to death.

But, if not putting personal opinion, there are certain advantages of this type of education.

 • Social distancing: The situation we are in right now proves how useful this type of education is for us. It may not look possible to arrange separate classes and mechanical teachers for each student but something nearly similar can be a great help, like 6-8 students in one class as per the size of the class and number of benches in it.

 • Accurate evaluation: Sometimes a human teacher can have some personal biases for a particular student which can influence his/her grades but in case of a mechanical teacher it's different. The machine will evaluate every student equally and accurately.

 • No hesitation for students: There are number of situations when a student hesitates to ask his/her doubts out loud. It can be the fear of sounding dunce in front of the whole class or maybe an intimidating teacher. But when come to think of a mechanical teacher, a student won't hesitate to ask a smallest doubt because the machine wont be judging him/her for that.

 • No distraction: In this type of education, there would be least amount of distraction as considering the absence of classmates and a human teacher. Student may be able to focus on studying only when there's no one around to grab his attention elsewhere.

Disadvantages:

 • Lack of mutual understanding: The relationship between a teacher and a student is pretty sensitive. A normal (human) teacher can easily decipher whether or not the student is able to understand the problem. A normal teacher has the potential to bring the best out of his/her student and this involves emotions which machines don't possess.

 • Lack of support: Students are able to do better in academics because they get constant support from their teachers as well as their classmates. Who is going to applaud for you when you get highest grades in the class and give a nice presentation? This type of support cannot be neglected.

 • No group activities: Students also learn from each other when involved in a group activity. Group activities play very crucial role in the development of interpersonal skills. But when you are the only one in the class no group activity can take place.

Sadly because of the pandemic the education system that is imposed upon us is not much better. Virtual school does lack so many things that a traditional school system provides but the fact that interaction between students and teacher is possible makes the difference. Only the use of technological means has increased. In 12th grade I would definitely prefer attending traditional school with my friends and classmates and with human teachers because it would be my last year and I truly don't want to spend it by sitting home and gazing my computer screen.

Answer: to portray Huck’s father as uneducated and ignorant.

In this excerpt, Twain most likely uses humour to highlight the absurdity of the father's sentiment. This is done in order to portray Huck's father as uneducated and ignorant. The father tells Huck that he does not see the importance of school. Moreover, he thinks school is damaging because it will teach Huck to feel superior to his dad, who is unlikely to have attended school.
