Answer:

Xena earns $144 a week

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Xena earns a week = X

Harry earns a week = (X + 45)

George earns a week = (X - 18)

According to the question,

2(X + 45) = 3(X - 18)

or, 2X + 90 = 3X - 54

or, 2X - 3X = -90 - 54

or, -X = - 144

or, X = 144 (Multiplying by -1 in both sides)

Therefore, Xena earns $144 a week.

Harry earns = $(144+45) = $189 and George earns $(144-18) = $126.

Answer:

{x | x = -6, -1, 0, 3}

(first option listed)

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain of a function is all possible x-values for that function

So, we can see (from the x-value portion of our table) that the possible x-values are:

-6 , -1, 0, and 3

We write domain and range in lowest - highest number value order, so we write our domain as such:

{x | x = -6, -1, 0, 3}

<em>{range is all possible y-values, and this would include -7 , 1, 9, and -2}</em>

What is the surface area of this figure? Enter your answer in the box.

Answer:

915

Step-by-step explanation:

V=l*w*h V=1/2*b*h*l

V of the rectangular block: 15*5*8 = 600

V of the triangular prism--it's easiest to solve half of it, then just multiply that answer by 2: 1/2*5*7*9 = 157.5

When you double it, it cancels out the 1/2

157.5*2=315

315+600=915

Option A: d(t) = 360-60t is the right answer

Step-by-step explanation:

We will write the given problem in terms of function to find the correct answer.

Let d(t) be the function and t be the number of hours.

Total distance is 360 miles and with each passing hour the distance will reduce 60 miles

So,

The function is:

d(t) = 360-60t

Hence,

Option A: d(t) = 360-60t is the right answer
