Because if this ad has famous people in a Nike commercial for example people will tend to follow what’s nice but maybe they don’t even like the item they just buy it because that person is famous and they wanna look and dress more like them so the company that is being shown here in this ad is being viewed by millions of people from all over the world. So basically...they’ll just end up getting much more money in the end of all of it

blondinia [14]

Answer:

People should disregard schooling and  thus work in the entire life period.

Explanation:

Condition 1--- Work throughout the 4 periods

The NPV = \frac{30,000}{1.1} + \frac{30,000}{1.1^2} + \frac{30,000}{1.1^3} + \frac{30,000}{1.1^4}

= 27,272. 7 + 24,793.3 + 22,539.4 +20,490.4

= 95,095.8

Condition 2 - Attend school and work later

The NPV = -28,000 + \frac{50,000}{1.1^2} + \frac{50,000}{1.1^3} + \frac{50,000}{1.1^4}

= -28000 + 41,322.31 + 37,565.7 + 34,150.6

=   85,038.61

Conclusion: Since the NPV of not going to school is higher, people should disregard schooling. They should work in the entire life period.

Suppose you have $10,000 in cash and you decide to borrow another $10,000 at a(n)6% interest rate to invest in the stock market.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

D)-26%

Explanation:

The computation of the realized return on your investment is shown below:

= (Rate of return × total investment) - (interest paid)

= (-10% × $20,000) - (6% × $1,000)

= (-$2000 - $600)

= -$2,600

Now  the Rate of return is

=(-$2,600 ÷ $10,000)

= -26%

hence, the realized return on your investment is -26%

Therefore the correct option is D.
