Determine the class of the italicized pronoun.
Elina [12.6K]

Answer:<u> Those</u> is a demonstrative pronoun.

Explanation:

  • We use demonstrative pronouns when we want to point to something specific. These pronouns identify objects/people in time or space.
  • There are demonstrative pronouns in both singular and plural form.
  • Moreover, there are demonstrative pronouns that are near in time/distance (<em>this, these</em>) and far in time/distance (<em>that, those</em>).
  • Demonstrative pronoun <em>those</em> used in this sentence is a demonstrative pronoun used for plural. It is far in distance/time.

What does the great banquet reveal about the Middle Ages?
malfutka [58]

Answer:

hopefully this will help

Explanation:

The food served was quite different in quantity, and in some respects nature, from everyday meals, which for most people were apt to start with (or, for the poor, consist of) vegetable pottages (soups or stews). For a banquet, vegetables, if any—in England, they rarely appear on feast menus—were vastly outnumbered by a parade of roasts or fish of all kinds, and more elaborate dishes.
