Jean jacques Rousseau thought that  the natural goodness of a man can be nurtured and maintained only according to this highly prescriptive model of education and he highly steemed the “natural man" as uncorrupted by modern society. I'm not entirely positive, as all the lines in this poem seem dark and gloomy to me, but this seems to be the best answer out of the options.
