Answer:

A. 4 groups of 6 students in each group.

B. The smaller group will have 5 students.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that Ms.Rochelle wants to put her 29 students into groups of 6.

A. To find the number of groups of 6 that can be made from 29 students, we will find the greatest multiple of 6 from 29.

Multiples of 6 are: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36,...

We can see that the greatest multiples of 6 in 29 in 24.

\text{Number of groups that can be made with 29 students}=\frac{24}{6}

\text{Number of groups that can be made with 29 students}=4

Therefore, Ms. Rochelle can form 4 groups from 29 students with 6 students in each group.

B. To find the number of students in small group, we will subtract 24 from 29.

\text{Number of students in the small group}=29-24

\text{Number of students in the small group}=5

Therefore, If Ms. Rochelle puts any remaining students in a smaller group, the number of students in smaller group will be 5.

Complementary angles are two angles that add up to 90 degrees

So, 2x + 3x = 90 we have to solve for x

5x = 90

Divide each side by 5

x = 18

Plug 18 into x for 3x and 2x

3x = 3(18) = 54

2x= 2(18) = 36

If the top of a 4.50 m ladder reaches twice as far up a vertical wall as the foot of the
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

4.02 meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the diagram, the length of the ladder is |AC|.

If the foot of the ladder is x meters from the base of the ladder

Then the distance of the ladder up the wall, AB=2x meters.

Using Pythagoras Theorem

|AC|^2=|AB|^2+|BC|^2\\4.5^2=(2x)^2+x^2\\4.5^2=4x^2+x^2\\20.25=5x^2\\$Divide both sides by 5\\x^2=20.25\div 5\\x^2=4.05\\x=\sqrt{4.05}=2.01 feet

Therefore, the distance of the ladder up the wall,

AB=2 X 2.01 =4.02 meters.

soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

A) $21,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Percentage of down payment that ABC bank requires to be paid = 20%

Price of the house = $10500

Then

Amount of down payment

that needs to be made = (20/100) * 105000

                                    = 21000 dollars
