According to science, the fastest speed possible for anything is the speed of light, which is about 186,000 miles per second. Th

at is, in one minute, light travels 11,160,000 miles. The star nearest Earth is the Sun. It's about 93,000,000 miles from Earth. Therefore, it takes sunlight about eight minutes to travel to Earth. So, when you see the Sun, you aren't seeing it as it is. You're seeing it as it was eight minutes ago. Since the stars are much farther away than our Sun, imagine how far back in time you're seeing them! It's obvious that humans will never travel to planets near even the closest stars. Which statement from this passage is an example of an opinion? A. It's obvious that humans will never travel to planets near even the closest stars. B. So, when you see the Sun, you aren't seeing it as it is. C. The star nearest Earth is the Sun. D. According to science, . . . the speed of light . . . is about 186,000 miles per second.

The correct answer is - <span>A. It's obvious that humans will never travel to planets near even the closest stars.
</span>The word <em>obvious </em>makes us realize that this is actually somebody's opinion rather than a fact. The author didn't provide enough evidence to support this claim - and saying that something is <em>never </em>going to happen is wrong because there isn't a 100% chance they are right. Maybe some day we will travel deeper into the space - the author cannot claim this will never ever happen.

click the sentence on the paragraph that best shows the son cares about his father despite wanting to trick him
Igoryamba

Answer:

As soon as he arrived, he placed the moccasins, the arrowhead, and the prized quiver in his father’s sleeping roll where the Old Man would tense with fear once again upon retrieving them that evening.

Explanation:

In the given passage, we can see that the son has had enough of his jokes on his father. He decided to stop making his father worried. But at the same time, he still tries to play a trick on him. So, he went ahead and left all the items in his tipi so that his father will be surprised to see them.

The sentence that shows how the son cares about his father yet wants to trick him is seen in the third sentence. The act of returning the items to his father shows he cares for him but at the same time, wanting to make him <em>"tense with fear" </em>shows his playful side.

"As soon as he arrived, he placed the moccasins, the arrowhead, and the prized quiver in his father’s sleeping roll where the Old Man would tense with fear once again upon retrieving them that evening."
