The correct answer is C) New boundaries caused Hungary to lose most of its population.

European nations were affected by the five treaties established at the end of the war in that new boundaries caused Hungary to lose most of its population.

We are referring to the treaties after World War 1. After this destructive period of armed confrontation, nations had to sign treaties to formally establish peace in Europe and modify the territories.

Specifically, the treaties of Lausanne, Trianon, and Sevres, established that Hungary was going to be an independent state. By signing the treaty of Trianon of November 1920, Transylvania was no more a Hungary territory. It was passed to Romania. Slovakia was ceded to Czechoslovakia, and other portions of Hungary were ceded to Yugoslavia.

How did distance affect the city-states of ancient Greece?
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

It made city-states ununited, since they formed independently from each other. City-States were constantly fighting and going to war with each other.

Explanation:

Since city-states had distance between them, they adopted different lifestyles from one another; their economies depended on different recourses because their terrain was different from one another (ex: states by the coast would often fish as a main source of income and food). The mountanous terrain of Greece only separated city-states further and encouraged the independent growth of city-states. This meant Greece was ununited and city-states would constantly go to war with each other.

The domination of Texas politics by Republicans after the Civil War ended (a) with the election of governor Richard Coke in 1873
sammy [17]

Answer:

In an armed standoff in the capital between the Republican governor and the Democratic legislature in 1872.

Explanation:

Before the domination ended, the republican representatives in this state always won by republican party in a land slide. But the resentment that people have due to the civil war divided the state's opinion on some issues. This resulted in a standoff between the two parties. Even though eventually the Republican still won the election, the total votes between the two only separated by small margin.
