The biggest alter to the American homefront was that women actually started working and helping with war. Before WWII women just stayed at the house and took care of their kids. It's the biggest effect now because women still work today, and they still can get into the Military today. A little side effect from it is that there were major blackouts in cities, due to the war.

This means that the only candidates that appear in the second session are the republican and the democratic candidate.
