Answer:

Two populations of lobsters do not mate because one population lives in the Atlantic Ocean and the other lives in the Pacific Ocean

This is Habitat isolation- this occurs because the two separate lobster populations prefer different habitats which lowers their probability for mating. it serve as a barrier to gene flow in a population.

Two populations of flowers do not produce offspring because one blooms during early spring and the other blooms during late spring.

Temporal isolation this is a biological isolation which occurs when two organisms of the same species have different breeding times.Because this is related to production of new species this type of isolation is called reproductive isolation.

A male snail and a female snail from different species attempt to mate, but the orientation of their different types of shells prevents mating from occurring,

This is mechanical isolation this is a type of isolation in which differences in certain physical structures present in either of the two species of organisms interfere with the ability to reproduce. Thus orientation in the shell shape isolated the snails to mate.

Many populations of clams release their sperm and eggs into the same region of a lake, but only the sperm and eggs from the same species successfully unite to form zygotes.

This is Gametic isolation. It refers to incompatibility of the two sex -cells involved in copulation. Thus only sperms and eggs from the same species will fertilize to form zygote.

Omitted question The birds-of-paradise are a group of brightly colored birds living mostly in New Guinea that have elaborate and elongated feathers. Behavioral isolation prevents different birds-of-paradise species from mating and reproducing.

Female birds of the same species are only attracted to the dances and songs produced by compatible male of the same species. Thus females which are not receptive to the dances and songs of the males are not of the same species. Therefore the incompatible behaviours isolated these birds from one another.- behavioural isolation.

Which of the following statements is INCORRECT about how the components of hemoglobin are recycled?
Over [174]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

The globin of the RBC is broken down into constituent amino acids that can be reutilized by the phagocytic cells (this can occur in the spleen, liver and lymph node). The chains cannot be reused in their large form. The heme(iron) is transported by the blood to the bone marrow and is used to make new red blood cells.
