Answer:

Both A and C

Explanation:

The 10th Amendment is an addendum to the United States Constitution and exists within the Bill of Rights. It states that;

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

This helps in defining the division of power between the state and federal governments.

Answer:

C. The powers not prohibited by the Constitution to the states

Explanation:

The Tenth Amendment is the act passed in the constitution of the United States of America inorder to protect the federal and the State goverments. It simply sws that power is not delegated to the United States but rather shared among the various entities that made up the country.

At the intial stage, the law simply states that if something is not in the constitution, the federal government could not pass it across to the states. That is, each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and rights.

For example, the States are free to set different minimuim wage quite different from the one passed by the federal government as a result of its independence and freedom which it enjoys.
