It remains the same because when you round it the number next to it is not 5 or higher so it stays the same . Remember when your rounding the number next to it has to be 5 or higher or it will not change if it not 5 or higher .

                  Hello!

✧・゚: *✧・゚:*    *:・゚✧*:・゚✧

❖ The 3 remains the same when 9,321 is rounded because if you look to the right of the number in the hundreds place, you see 2. 5 and above, give it a shove (round up). 4 and below, leave it alone (round down). Since 2 is below 5, we leave it alone. So 9,321 is rounded to 9,300.

Elena-2011 [213]

Camille spent 22 minutes and 30 seconds opening presents.

Since Camille had a very fun birthday party with lots of friends and family attending, and the party lasted for 3 hours, and she and her friends played games for 3/8 of the time, ate pizza and cake for 50% of the time , and spent the remainder of the time opening presents, to determine the amount of time spent opening presents the following calculation must be performed, posing the following linear equation:

Total time - time spent on other activities = time spent opening presents

  • 3 - (3 x 3/8) - (3 x 0.5) = X
  • 3 - 1.125 - 1.5 = X
  • 3 - 2.625 = X
  • 0.375 = X

  • 1 = 60
  • 0.375 = X
  • 0.375 x 60 = X
  • 22.5 = X

Therefore, Camille spent 22 minutes and 30 seconds opening presents.

Find lim x->2 for f(x)=
TiliK225 [7]

LHL in not equal to RHL , Therefore the limit does not exists , Option D is the answer.(none)

<h3>What is the limit of a function ?</h3>

The limit of a function at a certain point is the value that the function approaches as the argument of the function approaches the same point.

It is given that

lim x->2 for f(x)

\lim_{x \rightarrow 2^-}f(x) = \lim_{x\rightarrow 2^+}f(x)

f(x) = 2x+1 x ≤2

f(x)= x² , x >2

When both the function tends to 2

Left Hand Limit

f(x) = 2 *2 +1

f(x) = 5

Right Hand Limit

f(x) = x² ,

f(x) = 4

LHL in not equal to RHL , Therefore the limit does not exists.
