Answer:
When the school year ended, Shane, Austin, and I went straight to the beach and threw an "end-of-the-year party." It was, pretty crazy honestly. After the party, we all went to Austin’s house and continued it there since the police had said we couldn’t drink at the beach. The party DJ, Omar, was blasting music. The party didn’t end until the morning. Since Austin’s parents were out for the week, we had his house to ourselves. So, after the last party ended, we cleaned up and got the house ready for tonight’s party. It was a difficult task but we managed to complete it before 10 PM. This time, the party was even crazier than the last one. There were drinks, food, music, a pool bar, and the best part is that the music was blasting. Around 2:30 in the morning, the police showed up, started to detain everybody. Some people ran out of the house but some weren’t so lucky. Apparently, Shane jumped out of the window and ran into the avenue a little further behind Austin’s backyard. We were amazed when we heard how lucky Shane had been. He was the only one of us who got lucky, though. My parents had to pick up Austin and me and I was grounded for the rest of the summer. Austin’s parents didn’t ground him for too long, his only punishment was to clean the house. I’m pretty sure none of us regretted throwing the parties."

The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman examines gender role's oppressive nature which was imposed on women in the late 19th century. Due to the inability to insert one's identity, the narrator is driven mad and thus strives for self-expression.
A statement which is a theme of "The Yellow Wallpaper" is B. Keeping one's mind active is good for mental health.
The theme of self-expression is important to keep one's mind active. More than physical constraints, mental constraints are the one which drives the narrator insane. To protect her facade of marriage she is forced to hide her fears and anxieties. "Resting cure" aspect creates inactivity and silence which is intolerable. Such treatment only forced her to be passive and refused from any kind of mental exercise. Her imaginative power is repressed which ultimately is the cause of her insanity. On the other hand, for emotional and intellectual outlet she constantly longs for it. According to Gilman self-destruction is caused to the state of forced inactivity.
