One time my best friend gave me a mood ring, and when I went to Washington Dc for Spring Break, I left it in the hotel room acidentally.

I didn't know what to do at first, but luckily the book fair that she bought it from came back the week after spring break and i bought a new one so she never noticed

this taught me that if you cherish a gift dont loose it and act like you care about it

Explanation:

In sociology, role conflict takes place when a person faces demands from the different roles she plays in society. Those demands are incompatible and, therefore, pull that person in different directions, creating a conflict of statuses. The woman in the passage is facing a conflict between her role as an employee and as a student. Her boss's demand would normally be an acceptable one. However, it now interferes with her studies.

This is the complete quote from the author Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, american, religious educator in which he pretends to make the reader conscious of the implications of being a Christian and what it is needed. By saying "it requires something more" he is referring that it it not as easy as wanting and trying. Because it is bigger than us, humans.
