What is 2/3 divied by 3 in fraction form
Ede4ka [16]
The answer that you are looking for 1/5, you basically 2/3 in decimal form is 0.6. Then you divide by 3 to get 0.2. Then the way I did this was by first doing 2 over 10 (2/10), then reduced it to 1/5 (1 over 5).

*This was the way I did it, you don't have to do it this way. Find a way that is easiest for you to answer problems like this in the future.

A science museum makes gift bags for students using 168 magnets, 48 robot figurines, and 24 packs of freeze-dried ice cream. How
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

  • 7 magnets
  • 2 robot figurines
  • 1 pack of freeze-dried ice cream

Step-by-step explanation:

The greatest common factor of 24, 48, and 168 is 24, so 24 gift bags can be made. Each will have 1/24 of the number of gift items of each type that are available.

In each bag are ...

  • 1/24 × 168 magnets = 7 magnets
  • 1/24 × 48 robot figurines = 2 robot figurines
  • 1/24 × 24 packs of ice cream = 1 pack of ice cream

_____

One way to find the greatest common factor (GCF) is to consider whether the smallest number divides all the numbers. If so (as here), then that is the GCF. If not, then consider the smallest difference between any pair of numbers, to see if it divides all of the numbers. If not, then test the smallest positive remainder from any of those divisions. Repeat until you have found a common divisor (which may be 1).

The equation for the cross-section of a parabolic satellite TV dish is stated below, measured in inches. How far is the focus fr
leonid [27]
<span> The coordinates of the focus are </span><span><span>(<span>h,k+<span>1/<span>4a</span></span></span>)</span><span>(<span>h,k+<span>1/<span>4a</span></span></span>)

y=1/38*x^2
here h=0,k=0 ,a=1/38

so if we put values to find focus
focus(0,0+1/4*1/38)=(0,9.5)
