Mesoamerican civilization were very developed. They had high level of crafts development: stone, ceramics, wood, textiles, metal, painting. They had knowledges in astronomy, math, writing and even created calendary system. They had developed trade system and good commucative system. For better communication, transpor<span>ting people and goods they used wheeled transport or canoe-based transportation. </span>

Whatever is said about the development of the Mesoamerican civilization, one thing is certain; they did not have transport animals, like horses, and they did not have wheels. This did not come until much later. What they did have was a vast knowledge of sailling, esecially in canoes, and given the rich river systems their lands had, coastal peoples of Mesoamerica traded with their counterparts inland through transportation of goods by canoes. However, they also enjoyed a good road system of communication, and they did support a pretty advanced system of slavery, so they also used slaves to carry goods and people on slave backs.
